Foremost Utility Trailers
Foremost has begun manufacturing utility trailers.
A farm customer approached us asking if we could economically build a tilt deck utility trailer for hauling mowers. We researched the market and shopped for materials then proceeded to build what turned out to be one of the most versatile and well built utility trailers ever!
Built entirely with steel tubing, the subframe is comprised of 2" x 6" x .25" rectangular tubing. The tilting deck is built with 5" x 4" x .25 rectangular tubing with 2" x 2" x .19 square tubing crossmembers on 12" centers. The axles used were two 6,000 lb. Dexter Torflex axles. Dampening the tilting is a 2.5" x 24" hydraulic cylinder plumbed in a closed loop. An automatic latch system along with a manual safety latch keeps the deck secure. A 10,000 lb. drop leg jack, tongue chain tray, Rumber flooring, and LED lighting finish off this trailer.
Foremost will be manufacturing a limited amount of these trailers in the future with the ability to build custom appilications as well.
